The weather has been great so far
Apr. 8th, 2023 09:15 pm We have been getting more sun this week and the temperature has been getting warmer. I spotted more lizards during my strolls. It's safe to say that spring is already here.
Last night, I just finished Melon Journey. As expected, it was a really short game. There were some moments that made me felt terrified and sad, but the ending was satisfying! The storyline was quite engaging. I think I would compare the feeling of the story with another indie game, Night In The Woods. The aesthetics of the game is definitely the classic Game Boy sprite style, like one of those retro Nintendo art. Despite the cute pixels, the content of the story is dark (hence, why I stated feeling terrified and sad). I'm not going to go into too much details of Melon Journey, but the original soundtrack was beautiful! There was a song in the middle of the game that broke me and the lyrics felt relatable. The game speaks to me. I'd honestly attend a little music concert made for Melon Journey.
